Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour - What to Expect

Early morning, we pick-up you from your hotel and transfer you to the airport for your an unforgettable helicopter tour to Everest base camp. Your experienced pilot will take off and head east while narrating the snow-capped landscape and flying parallel to the Himalayan range.

Your first stop is at Lukla, which is the entrance to Mt. Everest and where your scenic heli-tour really starts. After stopping to refuel, you'll climb into the mountains for an amazing sightseeing trip. As you fly over the impressive Himalayas, you'll be able to take in the beautiful views.

The next step is to touch down at Kala Patthar, the site of Everest Base Camp, and spend about 10 minutes on solid ground looking up at the majestic mountain while your propeller keeps moving. From here, fly to Syangboche Airstrip – an unpaved stretch serving the village of Namche Bazaar – situated at an elevation of 12,300 feet (3,750 meters) (3,750 meters). Spend your 30–45 minutes on the ground eating a free breakfast.

As you sip your hot coffee in the crisp mountain air at Syangboche, you will be treated to unobstructed views of Everest and the Himalayas. Lastly, go back to Lukla to refuel before heading back to Kathmandu. When you get back to Kathmandu, you'll land at the airport and be taken to your hotel.
