What's a better way than to learn pottery in a city that is well-known for its traditional craftsmanship? If you've been wanting to practice basic pottery skills, give your trip to Bhaktapur a fun twist by learning it in pottery square. Get a peek into de daily lives of pottery craftsmen.

We will pick you up and we will travel to Bhaktapur. You will learn how to make a simple pottery piece such as a plate using a traditional technique and bring your own piece back home. To end the class, we'll also visit some workshops and sightsee the village.

Cook Dal Bhat like locals (4 hours package, US $ 50 pp)

Nepal has a distinguished cuisine that is full of flavor. A lot of people fall in love with the Nepali food, and in this cooking class at my home in Pokhara I will teach you how to make it. Dal Bhat, a very healthy rice and lentil soup, is one of the most popular dishes. 75% of the people eat this twice a day. So this is a dish you can’t miss and I will show you its secrets. Besides the Dal Bhat we are going to make Puri, Pakauda & Aaludum, Nepali Momo & soup (Meat Momo or Vegetarian Momo). All dishes are very common in Nepal. Afterwards you can enjoy your own made Nepali dish!

Learn Thangka Painting (4 hours package, US $ 35 pp)

Want to learn how to paint Thangka? Try thangka drawing during our class! It provides you with a marvelous opportunity to experiment with thangka and produce your own thangka masterpiece.

Don’t worry, no previous experienced is necessary to create a truly unique souvenir.
