Bardia National Park Nepal's Terai region is home to the world's largest unspoiled wilderness. Near the Geruwa and Karnali Rivers, the park protects 968 square kilometers of sal forest and whispering grassland. The place is very peaceful, and since tourism is down right now, you might have the whole place to yourself. At Bardia, there are thought to be around 22 royal Bengal tigers and 100 one-horned rhinos, but they are hard to find and rarely seen. There are also grey langurs, rhesus macaques, leopards, civets, hyenas, sloth bears, spotted, sambar, and hog deer in the park. Bardia also has more than 250 kinds of birds, including the Bengal florican and sarus crane, both of which are in danger of going extinct. On rafting and canoe trips along the Geruwa River, you might see Gharial and marsh mugger crocodiles or Gangetic dolphins. On the edges of the national park, there are Maoist rebels who are up to no good. Since the insurgency began, the number of tourists has gone down, and most people now go on organized tours, which can only happen when the army and rebels agree to stop fighting.
Nepal is not only known for trekking in snow-capped Himalayas but also an exquisite Jungle Safari through the pristine National parks. Nepal's geography is such that the Himalayas are in the north, and the lowlands in the south, called Terai, are densely covered with tropical forests that are home to a wide range of animals, plants, and native and migratory birds. Nepal has some of the most interesting places to go on a Jungle Safari in the world. Nepal has 14 national parks and wildlife reserves. Jungle Safari is most popular in Chitwan National Park, Bardia National Park, and Koshi Tappu Wildlife reserve. Bardia national park tour is home to many rare and endangered animals, such as the Royal Bengal Tiger, the One-horned Rhino, the Crocodile, the Four-horned Antelope, the Striped Hyena, the Gangetic Dolphin, and more than 550 species of birds. Jungle Safari includes going deep into the jungle on the back of an elephant to see wildlife, riding a canoe on the rivers inside the park to see crocodiles and water birds in their natural habitat, taking a nature walk, watching birds, touring a village, and watching a cultural show. Both by car and by plane, these parks are easy to get to. Before going on a safari trip, many adventurous people also go rafting. This safari trip will be an amazing adventure that you will remember for the rest of your life.
